As a nurse, I know how challenging it can be to obtain clear and consistent tracings of both the fetal heart rate and uterine activity on women with higher BMI's, often we use rolled wash cloths to help pick up those tracings more clearly. the-addition has a middle layer of malleable foam that contours to the pregnant woman's belly, allowing more visible tracings, so when the-addition is in place, the rolled wash cloths and other items won't be necessary. Abpve is a tracing of a woman with a BMI of 45.3, sitting up in the rocking chair. The purple arrow indicates where the-addition was applied.
